Many of the institutions and systems in our society place countless individuals in near-impossible situations. From those that served time to those that served our country, the conclusion of those chapters is often met with limited options and minimal support, if any at all.
Sēkwel will work to help these members of our community through this difficult transition by providing true, individual mentorship and support. We will build dedicated support teams of expert, volunteer mentors around every individual. Each team will come together to support just ONE individual at a time. Over time, we will grow by building more teams, but we believe the dedicated-team approach will help to ensure success.

What is a mentor?
Business owners, lawyers, financial advisors, health coaches, teachers, therapists, yoga instructors, clothing retailers and, well, anyone that feels that they have something to offer! We will be building support teams around each individual that we work with, based upon their specific needs and circumstances. We know we will need job and career opportunities, we know we will often need legal help, but we also know we will need so much more than that and you may have exactly what we are looking for. We encourage you to please fill out the form and we will add you to our database so we can easily call upon you when you are needed.
Mentors will be part of a team of volunteers that is dedicated to the support of a single individual.
Who should apply for support?
You may submit the request for yourself or for someone else. We are focused on helping members of the South Florida community that have found themselves in an incredibly difficult, if not impossible, place in their life. Individuals affected by the prison system, veterans returning home to limited opportunity or anyone who's chances for a better life have been limited by circumstances outside of their control or past mistakes. We want to help.
